You may be eligible for a free Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) package through the NSW Government's Community and Small Business CCTV Fund.
This fund provides free CCTV packages of up to $5,000 to eligible community groups and small businesses in Western and South-Western Sydney.
The CCTV Fund is available from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2023.
CCTV can help to protect your business or community organisation from crime and keep your community safer.
All CCTV systems installed under the fund are registered with the NSW Police. If a crime occurs, Police will request access to relevant data to help identify and prosecute offenders. Your right to privacy is important, so Police will only request access to your CCTV footage if a crime occurs.

Each application will be considered on a case by case basis by the CCTV Fund Assessment Panel.
Expansion into other LGAs may occur following a program review.
You are not eligible to apply if you are:
Apply online through the SmartyGrants application form.
If you cannot use the online form, you can download the CCTV Fund application form and email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org with the required documents.
We will assess your application and notify you of the outcome. You can resubmit your application if it is incorrect.
If your application is approved, a pre-qualified CCTV supplier will contact you to inspect your premise and determine the appropriate CCTV system.
DCJ will approve the quote and the pre-qualified CCTV supplier will then install or upgrade the CCTV system at your business premise.
We will pay the invoice directly to the CCTV supplier.
No, only pre-qualified CCTV suppliers can install or upgrade your CCTV
under this fund and you cannot claim any rebates or reimbursements.
Please contact our office immediately if you are unsatisfied with the supplier during the installation process.
You must review and approve the Final Commissioning Report once installation and training is complete. Do not approve this Report if you are unsatisfied with the outcome of the project.
